What is compact laminate?

Compact laminate is a durable material that is mainly used for interior applications. It is made using layers of kraft paper which is then coated with resin. The laminate is then fused together under high pressure and temperature to create a completely solid construction that is resistant to moisture, heat, and impact.

In contrast to laminate worktops and panels, compact laminate doesn't have the same chipboard substrate in the centre, thus making compact laminate a more hard wearingmaterial.
